Geometric Analysis Seminar —— The Mahler conjecture in dimension three

【摘要】
We prove the Mahler conjecture in dimension three. More precisely, we establish the sharp lower bound for the volume product |K| |K^*| \ge \frac{64}{9} for every convex body containing the origin in its interior. Equality is attained by simplices whose Santal\'o point is the origin. Our method also works for the symmetric Mahler conjecture, and yields a new proof of the three-dimensional symmetric case. The talk is based on joint work with Shibing Chen, Yuanyuan Li, and Zhekun Xu.
